My '83 K-10 and '86 Olds 442 both have the same (as far as I can tell) cruise system. The difference is the Chevy is mounted to the rear on the firewall, the Olds is mounted on a bracket on the front of the engine. When I bought the olds, it had an edelbrock carb on it and was missing the arms and attaching pieces for the cruise.

There is no reason to touch any of the hydraulic clutch linkage to replace a clutch, except maye to move the slave cylinder out of the way. Both the clutch and slave cylinders are available in your local parts stores.
